Your newborn will never be this tiny again.

At the moment, a limited number of complimentary newborn sessions are available. This includes the photoshoot itself and a mounted print of your favourite photograph.

To reserve your space, there's a £45 booking fee. This is returned to you at your cinematic premiere appointment, or can be put towards any artwork you choose.

There is absolutely no obligation to purchase anything beyond your included print, though many families do once they've seen their photographs and realise they would love to enjoy them as artwork in their home.

Mounted prints begin at £75, with wall art from £425, alongside portrait boxes and albums for those who would like something more substantial.

I understand wanting to share photos easily, so every piece of artwork you buy comes with its matching social-media-ready digital file. I don't offer a digitals-only package because too many beautiful images end up forgotten on a phone or an old USB stick. My products are made at a specialist professional lab and designed to last for hundreds of years, so you get something you'll enjoy every day and the digitals to share too.

The studio is on the third floor of Towcester Mill in Towcester, Northamptonshire (NN12 6YY). There's free parking directly outside, and lift access makes it easy to reach the studio with a newborn.

Most families visit from across Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire, and we're just a couple of minutes from the A5, making us easy to find.

If you're still pregnant, please book your session for around one week after your due date. Don't worry if your baby decides to arrive early or keep you waiting, your space is guaranteed and we'll simply adjust the date once they've arrived.

If your baby is already here, please book the next available appointment. For those sleepy, curled-up newborn portraits, the first two weeks are ideal, so the sooner the better, but it's never too late. I regularly photograph older newborns and babies, and beautiful photographs can be created at any age.

Sessions begin at 10am and usually last around two and a half hours, though I'd suggest allowing up to three and a half hours just in case.

This is one of the biggest differences between my newborn sessions and many others, which are often scheduled for under an hour. I intentionally allow much longer because babies don't work to a timetable. There is plenty of time for feeding, changing, cuddles and settling, meaning your session can unfold at your baby's pace without anyone feeling hurried.

Always. Your baby's safety and comfort come before any photograph. I've trained extensively with internationally recognised newborn photographers and I'm up to date with paediatric first aid. Some of the more advanced poses you see online are actually composites, two images gently merged so your baby is supported at all times and never left unsupported for a shot. The whole session is calm, baby-led and unhurried.

This is the number one worry, and always the one parents needn't have had. Newborn sessions are completely baby-led with no time limits, so we stop for feeding, cuddles, winding or settling whenever your baby needs it. Your baby doesn't have to sleep on cue or hold a pose, and some of the loveliest images come from the wide-awake, milk-drunk moments in between. And if it's simply not their day, we call it and rearrange free of charge.

Almost everyone says exactly this. You don't need any experience, I guide you through the whole session, where to stand and what to do with your hands, so nothing feels stiff. As for reluctant partners, I hear it weekly, and they're very often the ones who get the most emotional at the premiere once they see the images.

Your baby, your decision. Before every session you'll get a permissions form to tell me exactly what you're comfortable with. If you'd prefer your images never appear on social media, my website or anywhere public, that's absolutely fine, your files are immediately marked "no media" so there's never any confusion. I never use names or tag you unless you ask.
